Don't Let The Terrorists Win!

Now, with the newly-created Homeland Security Agency raising the threat level to “high” and warning that the terrorists may be planning to explode a “dirty” radiological bomb in one of our large cities, what are you and I to do about it?
One thing is to use common sense. Be wise. Be calm. Check out World Net Daily’s web site at “WND.com” and look into the book they recommend concerning how to react in the event of a chemical or biological attack.
Use your head, don’t lose it.
The terrorists WANT us to live in fear. Recently another interview on Fox Cable News came up with a “what if” kind of threat: “What if” snipers began shooting individuals one at a time in cities all up and down the east coast?” they asked. “Why, it would SHUT DOWN THE COUNTRY!” Nonsense.
This kind of hysteria is simply better left unsaid. Yes, schools and some businesses were shut down when the Washington D.C. snipers were murdering helpless victims. But millions went about their daily chores just as before.
The BIG question before you is which is the more valuable; the few years ahead of you in this life, in this rotten, sin-sick, crime-ridden, terrorist-infected civilization, or life for all eternity in the Kingdom of God?
Jesus Christ clearly described the times in which we are living: He said, “But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
“Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
“And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” (Luke 21:8-11).
How utterly ludicrous it is that our highest terrorist alert since 9/11 comes just as a Muslim “holy Haj” or pilgrimage, is ending! What kind of people are they who use religion to justify mass murder?
Personally, I do not intend to be “politically correct” and play cute little games by pretending Middle-eastern type men are not to be checked out carefully, as my son Mark and I travel to Australia. When I see (as I have many times) our newly-installed “government employees” checking us at security gates running their electronic wands over the bare arms of a young white American male, with his wife and l-year old baby; when I see them making a young man take off his flat sandals and run a wand over his bare feet; when I see them carefully checking a grey-haired, stooped-over little old lady, while they ignore a dark, swarthy, bearded Middle Easterner because he did not happen to come up “at random” it leaves me with a sense of helpless frustration and muted rage. This is bovine stupidity at its most incredible heights!
I am not exaggerating! My wife and I watched airport security personnel do exactly what I described! Further, some of the security personnel are themselves foreigners!
The FBI and other agencies KNOW there are other “sleeper cells” among us. They know those people are not white, Caucasian Americans, but people from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia; a host of countries whose state religion is Islam, and who hate Israel and the United States.
How utterly ridiculous it is that there are many who pretend we must be “politically correct” in turning a blind eye to those from such countries, lest we “offend” someone.
Let them be offended. And let us be safe.
What am I to say if confronted by a Middle Eastern terrorist who has managed to sneak a box cutter aboard a flight while I am a passenger, “Sir, I am certainly glad I didn’t offend you back there in the security line when I thought you were acting a bit suspiciously — I didn’t hurt your feelings, did I?”
No, I think I would rally other passengers and shout “Let’s roll!”
